About Me My name is Sarah Beard. I teach Junior High Science and Social Studies. I graduated from University of Illinois Springfield in 2006, with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. I later earned my teaching certificate, as well as an addition degree in Liberal Studies, in 2011. I am currently working on a Master's degree in Environmental Studies. I am married and have two children, a five-year-old, and a five-month-old. When I am not teaching, I like to hike, and am very passionate about environmental issues.
